Our move to Spain was made easier by our friends at Starwood Pet Travel. They made the transit of our 2 french bulldogs work without a hitch. There were so many things that had to happen, they made it easy.We were able to be in contact ahead of the travel and had all of questions answered, either with just a quick call, or by scheduling a meeting. Even when our pups travel changed due to a change in the airline schedule, all went well. Cassidy kept me informed of their progress during their travel. And, beforehand, was available to help ensure that all would go according to plan. Starwood was easy to work with, explaining the process, travel immigration rules of the airlines country.Our pets were skittish on the night of arrival. That day, they had flow from Frankfurt to Madrid, gone through immigration, and then a 3 1/2 hour van ride to be brought to us. Within an hour, they were back to their old selves and have been so ever since.cWe are glad for the help of Starwood, and Cassidy in particular.I cannot do anything but recommend them. Remember, you are choosing to move, your pets are not.

We are a navy family and had to ship our senior dog, Lilly, to Naples, Italy. I was very nervous because she is an anxious pup to begin with, plus her age, and she had never flown before. Not to mention the health requirements and customs paperwork are rather cumbersome! I was happy to find Starwood, working with them to have Lilly shipped from DC to Rome (via Frankfurt) and they were even able to arrange having her driven from Rome to Naples. Our main point of contact was Sarah, and she was fantastic! She answered all of my questions along the way, kept up with our own flight itinerary changing at the last minute, and was quick to send me pics of Lilly during her layover in Frankfurt. :) My only minor complaint is that the CareTags feature didn't seem to be worth much. I thought it would be a more helpful "live" type of GPS tracking, but it only got updated once over the whole 48 hours she was traveling. I got more information about Lilly's whereabouts from the Lufthansa cargo tracking page. Shipping a beloved pet is going to be stressful no matter what, but Starwood helped make the experience as seamless as it could be.

WELL worth the cost to have the peace of mind that professionals are taking care of everything! With everything else I had to worry about with our international move, it was great to know that the pet move was well in hand and being managed. My nerves wouldn't have been able to handle worrying about everything on my own!My crew was well taken care of, and communication throughout the process was perfect. I highly recommend Starwood Pet Travel for shipping a pet to a new location, particularly for overseas travel. In our case, we shipped a large dog from the U.S. to South Korea. It was a bit complicated, as Caesar’s soldier was already in South Korea; Caesar was living with our son’s fiancé who had all the dog’s health records in PA; and I was in charge of the final travel responsibilities in OH. Before contacting Starwood Pet Travel, we found there were various restrictions specific to individual airlines, such as weight allowances, number of flying hours before a layover was required, and more. Once we found Starwood Pet Travel these concerns were no longer ours. After our initial interview, we were paired with a coordinator, Ryan, and were so grateful for her help. She was very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and organized while personable, kind and caring, and always willing to take that extra step to insure safety and success. She kept us aware of our responsibilities such as veterinary appoints, kennel requirements, and needed paperwork. Additionally, she made arrangements for the initial airport contact, customs, a layover in Germany, and the final turnover in South Korea. She sent continuous updates throughout Caesar’s journey, so we were able to know he was having a good trip. Then, came the news that he had landed safely at his destination, cleared customs, was reunited with his soldier, and on his way to his new home… the happy ending we had come to expect Starwood Pet Travel took away the stress of the responsibility of shipping a beloved pet to an overseas destination.

Having the pets taken care of and their care off our plate while we dealt with the stress of travel was a game changer. We had less. stress and Jazz and Puddin benefitted from dealing with calm people who knew what they were doing!

I moved all the way from the US to Japan with my 10 year old cat. There was a lot of paperwork and red tape to handle, so I'm really glad I used Starwood to make sure I had everything done correctly. He also got a comfort stop halfway through to make sure he wasn't too stressed out, which wouldn't have happened if I'd transported him myself.

I engaged with Starwood Pet Travel about 6 months before my adopted girl Jazmine was scheduled to travel and the whole experience was very well coordinated. Ryan was very responsive regardless of what questions I had or got anxious on the phone regarding timing of flights. My girl was transported to South Africa very safely and delivered to my home. I am elated to be reunited with my fur baby.

Starwood pet travel provided an excellent and comprehensive service to transport my 2 cats from Orlando to London Gatwick. I’m not sure I could have pulled it off without them! I reached out to Starwood to help me relocate my 14 yo Yorkie to New Zealand. Sage was assigned to me as my coordinator and she was amazing! She was very helpful and responsive every step of the way. They were a huge help and really eased my mind. They really took the stress out of the whole process. If you need to move your pet I highly recommend going with Starwood. They are worth it!

We are so impressed with Starwood a d their great care of our fur baby on her trop over seas. They worked with our own Vet to get necessary vaccinations and the correct paperwork completed. Ryan was very quick with responses during the whole process! From handing Lucy over to Quinn for the start of her trip to having her brought to us in Bangkok everything went off without a hitch! I cant thank them enough and if we need to relocate again it will be Starwood that we call! I am totally confident it will be the same phenomal experience!

We couldn't have had a better experience moving our two cats from the USA to England.

The initial thought of everything you have to do is extremely overwhelming and anxiety inducing, especially if you haven't done it before. But Starwood made the process effortless for my family. From the initial quote to the cats being picked up at Heathrow, Starwood were phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable.

Rosemary Cann was our Pet Travel Coordinator and she was excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. She relieved us of all stress and handled things majestically. Our vets back in the US commented how great she had been during the back and forth with them setting up paperwork and the health certificates. Everything we were anxious about dissolved immediately when we started working with her.

When the big day came for them to be picked up, it all went smoothly. Someone came to the house, went over everything, and then we got regular updates as they made their way to the airport and then through check in. Once in the air we knew there were good and then when they were unloaded we continued to get regular updates right up until I collected them.

I would highly recommend Starwood Pet Travel if you are looking to move and transport your pets. We don't have any plans to do a big move again, but if we ever did, we'd be straight back in touch with Starwood and would request Rosemary

Our dogs and cats flew from Atlanta to Edinburgh with a stopover in Frankfurt for context, we always trusted they were in good hands with people who would care for them.

Starwood was absolutely fantastic! I was living in America for four years with my cats and decided to move home to Ireland with my two beautiful cats, Minnow & Espeon. My pet coordinator Cassidy was remarkable, organised every detail for me and my two pets. Handing them off in Chiacago I was so nervous; there even was an issue with the crates but Starwood saved the day so my pets didn’t miss their flight! The team was so easy to reach and helpful. Picking up in Dublin was very slick with no issues. Best of all I was updated on my pets’ whereabouts and conditions the whole way through with messages and pictures. We are all one big happy family again. I would recommend Starwood to anyone wanting to travel with their animals, especially international travel. I could not have done it without the team.
